Computer Club Resource Committee Forming
The Computer Club would like to form a Computer “Resource” Committee. The purpose of this committee is to lend technical support to Fox Hill Farm residents who need assistance with computer related questions and problems. ROMEO'S (Retired Old Men Eating Out)    Bruce Seidel

R.O.M.E.O. stands for Retired Old Men Eating Out. This is a club for men to do all the things they always wanted to do and never got around to doing them.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2006, nineteen hungry, seafood craving "Romeo" men traveled 35 miles to "Woody's Crab House" a Northeast, Maryland icon restaurant. After consuming an abundance of seafood, soups, salads and humongous deserts, most of us walked it off by touring through this small hamlet which abuts the Maryland watershed. Thanks to Gerry Murphy, who set up this trip, a great time was had by all as can be seen in the above picture.

ROMEO HAS BEEN VERY BUSY THESE LAST THREE YEARS.  IN 2004 WE DID THE ESPIONAGE MUSEUM, THE SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM, SAW MACK TRUCKS BEING BUILT, CABELA'S SPORTING GOODS STORE, THE PHILLIES AT CITIZENS BANK PARK, HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYLES BEING ASSEMBLED AND OUR BEAUTIFUL STATE CAPITAL BUILDING IN HARRISBURG.

IN 2005 WE VISITED THE TURF CLUB,THE READING AIR SHOW,WAWA BEVERAGE COMPANY, THE BLUE ROCKS, HORSE POLO , GROUND "0", CIRLE LINE TOUR OF MANHATTAN,N.Y., THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER INTREPID, AND WE END THE YEAR ON THE LIBERTY SHIP THE "JOHN W. BROWN" IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY.

Romeo needs new adventures and new ideas.  Contact the Sports Committee for additional information.

FHF Women's Group - Jane Rupp, Chair

We aim for a 50-50 balance of fun activities and philanthropic endeavors. Add in the all-round camaraderie and you have the makings of a heartwarming experience.

For the 2010-11 season, we plan to have meetings every-other-month ~ sometimes featuring an interesting speaker ~ or a bit of frivolity – plus dessert and chit-chat. We’ll sponsor charitable collections for Back-to-School Supplies and Thanksgiving turkeys & non-perishables. We purchase Christmas gifts for about 30 underprivileged kids and supermarket gift certificates for their working-poor families. Six times a year, volunteers prepare a hot lunch for 75-80 needy folks at St. Agnes Day Room. We sponsor a monthly collection of gently-used clothing. Each spring we have a different charity drive. This year, our project was “Send a Kid to Camp” – to give disadvantaged kids (pre-K to 6th grade) a camping experience. We collected arts & crafts supplies and other needed items. We also donated money for the rental of buses to take the campers on day trips.

On the 'fun' side, we run the Casual Cocktail Parties at the Clubhouse (all residents welcome), monthly Out-to-Lunches at interesting restaurants, an occasional Girlfriends' Getaway Daytrip, an annual Covered Dish Supper - and we're always open to suggestions for something "new to do." All FHF women are welcome to participate - hopefully, we'll see you soon.
