Joe Beaumont, husband of Nellie Beaumont Joseph "Joe" Wickersham Beaumont, lately of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. Joe was born in Media and attended Media High School, where he lettered in football. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy (Seabees), spending much of that time in Guam. After his Navy stint, Joe worked for Delmarva Power for 40 years, eventually becoming a top manager. In his spare time, he loved traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and following the Philadelphia Phillies. Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Florence Beaumont in 1972. Survivors: His wife Nellie Beaumont; four sons, Mark Beaumont, Joseph Beaumont, James Scott and Richard Scott; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Raymond Gessay, prior resident Raymond Gessay Born May 11, 1920, died November 26, 2011. Born and lived in Philadelphia until 1957. Moved to Havertown, PA, then to Fox Hill Farm (for 12 years) in 1999 and moved to Quincy Retirement Village, Quincy, PA in June 2009. A veteran of World War 11, Ray was in the African campaign in the Army Air Corps. He was awarded the Purple Heart and other commendations. He loved tinkering, woodworking, fixing things and doing things "the right way". He loved to golf and even got a hole in one at Llanerch Country Club. He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne, Gessay, and grandchildren Megan Horan, Jeff Daly and Michael Daly. He also had four great grandchildren.
