National "do not call list"

Over 50 million people have registered for the national "do not call list". On September 24, 2003,  a federal court has blocked the national "do not call" list.

A second federal judge on Thursday blocked the popular "do not call" program that would declare 50 million telephone numbers off limits for telemarketers, saying it violated constitutional protections for free speech.
